At a glance...

Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Missouri State University and a Masters degree in Community and Economic Development from the University of Central Arkansas. Planning is actually a second career for Scott.  Prior to enrolling at Missouri State in 1997, he worked as a business manager for a nonprofit organization for seven years.  After graduation, he served with the City of Corpus Christi, Texas as a Planning Project Manager in their Comprehensive Planning Division.  He also has been employed as the Community Development Director of the City of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  Scott originally came to Wichita in December 2005, when he accepted a position as an Associate Planner with the Metropolitan Area Planning Department.  He then was offered the position of WAMPO Principal Planner in June of 2006.
