The WAMPO Travel Demand Model (TDM) is a computer program that is used to forecast future demand on the transportation system.  WAMPO is federally required to maintain an up-to-date model to be used for transportation plans and studies around the region.

The TDM is currently being updated as part of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) 2035.  As part of the update, the base year of the model is being updated from 2002 data to 2008 data.  The base year update is nearly complete.
