Public Review & Comment Periods
Public review and comment period for changes made to the 2010 TIP Amendment #5 will run from August 26, 2010 to September 3, 2010.
2010 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment #5
The following changes to projects were made:

ITS: Wichita Traffic Management Center, ITS Equipment (ITS-08-04) (P. F-150)

Other: K-96: I-135 to Rock Rd (OTH-10-001 (P.f150)
-
Road: I-135: Junction of K-96 (37th N.) to Park City Limits (R-08-38) (p. F-168)
TIP amendments are held quarterly to provide project sponsors an opportunity to update project information contained in the TIP. To view the document click on the link above.

A public review and comment period is also open from August 13, 2010 to September 3, 2010 on the following two documents:
1. 2010 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Amendment #4.
Budget and Appendices
The UPWP identifies the tasks and work items and the budget required to perform them. Amendment #4 was initiated to update the budget. The following changes are included:

Addition of funds to cover legal services necessary for review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between WAMPO, the City of Wichita, and Sedgwick County.

Update to the Contractual Services budget and Personal Service budget to account for actual costs incurred by WAMPO.
-
Increase in the Commodities budget to pay for computer upgrades.

2. 2011 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
Appendix C
The TIP is a short-range program that identifies transportation projects to be implemented during the next 4 years. It is updated every year. The 2011 TIP covers 2011-2014.
