IMPLEMENTING THE MTP                                             

Short-term and long-term objectives, strategies, and other recommendations are identified in the MTP 2035 to help achieve a safe, efficient, accessible, and affordable transportation system.  Implementation of the plan begins by initiating and following through on actions.

The success of the MTP 2035 requires the collective will of elected officials, partner agencies, and the general public.  Each party plays a significant role in initiating and following through on the recommendations and strategies.

WAMPO has initiated a process to track the progress of achieving the goals and objectives of the MTP 2035.  WAMPO will be reporting on performance measures as well as providing progress on activities that the region is carrying out to achieve the goals and objectives.
