The Technical Advisory Committee, also known as TAC, is made up of representatives from cities, counties, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and the State.  This committee’s purpose is to review technical information about transportation studies and issues.  They also help with the adoption of transportation documents such as the Long Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program.  TAC does not make final decisions.  Rather, they review information, make revisions, and then present their recommendations to the WAMPO Transportation Policy Body, which makes the final decisions.
