JARC & New Freedom
Eligible applicants for Job Access/Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom funds include private non-profit organizations, state or local government entities and public or private operators of public transportation in the Wichita urbanized area that includes some cities surrounding Wichita. New Freedom provides grants for operating expenses that support new public transportation services beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act. JARC provides grants for operating expenses of projects that transport low-income individuals to and from jobs and employment related activities.
